In a traditional flow, writing an EN 15804+A2 EPD means rebuilding the modulary table (Tables 8-11) by hand in Excel and pasting into Word/InDesign — a word-by-word process. clca uses a building-block approach instead: ready template + auto-filled tables + one-click PDF.

Program-operator-specific formats

Each EPD program operator has small format differences — ITB Poland uses "Stage" instead of "Phase" in tables, IBU has a different cover design, EPD International requires extra metadata. clca loads the correct template the moment you choose the verifier. Extra text blocks (disclaimers, sector notes) are pre-set per program rules.

JSON-LD: EPD for machines

Alongside the PDF, machine-readable JSON-LD output is generated automatically. This format imports directly into BIM software, green-building certification platforms (LEED, BREEAM, DGNB) and B2B procurement systems. The same data exports to the EN 15804+A2 ECO Platform format as well — for automatic listing in European EPD databases.

LCA copy: variant products in minutes

You modelled an insulation product — 60 mm thickness. The same product needs 4 more EPDs at 80, 100, 120, 150 mm. In a traditional flow, each requires rebuilding the whole model. With clca "LCA copy", the existing model is cloned, only the differing parameter (thickness → mass-flow) is updated, results follow in minutes. AI interpretation drafts a separate version for each variant.
